An affecting celebration, with passion and a lot of fantasy have organized the children of the Guest House of “ELPIDA”, to celebrate the National Day of March 25th. The celebration has taken place on Wednesday March 22nd 2023, to the welcoming Gust House of “ELPIDA”.
All children were dressed with traditional costumes and holding original handmade products, have welcomed the President of the Association Mrs. Marianna V. Vardinoyannis who was at their side this special day having presents with her for them that have lightened up their faces.
An especially touching moment was the gesture of the Guest House mothers who offered to Mrs. Vardinoyannis a multi color handmade embroidery with the word “ELPIDA” expressing in this way their gratitude for the work and the offer of the Association.
The celebration started with marches from the Navy’s Band and a parade of the children in the external place of Guest House.
The children have thereafter recited poems for the day, sang and danced traditional dances into a very moving atmosphere
The educators of the Guest House School, Mrs. Dimitra Trispagona, Athanasia Papastamatiou and the musician Mrs. Emmi Chalari had undertaken the organization of the event under the general coordination of the Guest House Directress, Mrs. Anna Panagopoulou and the person in charge of the psychosocial Service, Mr. Dimitris Nanis.
Mrs. Tzortzina Ellina, the Secretary General of the Association was also present in this beautiful celebration.
