In 2009, Sakis Rouvas was named Messenger of “ELPIDA” and is at the forefront with regard to its representation, while in 2017, Nana Mouskouri, Antonis Remos, Alkistis Protopsalti, Natassa Theodoridou, Michalis Hatzigiannis and Marinella were proclaimed Artists for Hope so that, with the gift and the dynamism they possess, they can promote the ideals and objectives of “ELPIDA,” raising public awareness of issues related to blood and oncological disorders in children and adolescents.
Very early on, the sports world also lent its support to the Association: Fifty sports organisations, with our Olympic Champions leading the way: Eleftherios Petrounias, Nikos Kaklamanakis, Sofia Bekatorou, Anna Korakaki and Maria Sakkari, the legends of the 2004 Greek National Team and our own top international basketball player, Giannis Antetokounmpo, along with Olympiakos F.C. and Panathinaikos B.C. who are proclaimed “Champions for Hope” spread ELPIDA’s vision everywhere.
