It is the deep belief and hope of the President and all the members of the “ELPIDA” Association of Friends of Children with cancer that cancer can be beaten.
And it is for this victory that it has battled since the first moment of its conception. Therefore, in tandem with the social work it carries out, the Association monitors the progress of science in the field of treating childhood cancer, supporting the scientific community, doctors, nurses, researchers, the people who have dedicated their lives to the battle against cancer.
For this purpose, it organises and participates in medical workshops and conferences in Greece and abroad, and honours personalities and organisations that stand out for their dedication to and success in treating children with neoplastic diseases.
