When faced with the obstacles and challenges the pandemic has imposed on our communication, our habits, and our daily life, ELPIDA does not back down! On the contrary, in line with the vision of its President, Marianna V. Vardinoyannis, it is clearing new paths and finding new ways, with the help of technology, to channel the interest of friends of children with cancer. Starting today, just click on eshop.elpida.org and a whole e-shop, a new corner of love, opens up to you.
It offers personalised purchases that will support ELPIDA’s goals, with the wonderful drawings of the children of ‘ELPIDA Junior’, and with a pioneering Greek ‘Cancer Care’ section that turns all the unique accessories ELPIDA children need (hats, scarves, anti-stress toys, masks, etc.) into a source of joy for our young friends. Everything is created for them with love and imagination!
The ELPIDA e-shop is here! And it will be open for purchases all year round! With its best sellers: The ‘ELPIDA’ lucky charm, which was once again designed this year by our Association’s Vice President – a well-known jewellery designer – Marianna Lemos, along with a wide range of accessories and gifts. And there’s the “shark” hat from the ‘Cancer Care’ line, for any children who want to show their love to a friend of theirs who had to shave their head for health reasons.
‘Cancer Care’ is something completely in Greece. It is the central core and, essentially, the main motivation for the creation of this new e-shop. The association listened to and provided for the needs of our modern age: Because the children and their families need to minimise their travel, while also having immediate access to necessary products. Consumers are also searching for new ways to make their purchases.
The e-shop is one of the Association’s new programmes and is an initiative from ELPIDA’s younger generation, headed by Marianna Lemos, in collaboration with the following members: Nasia Thanopoulou, Katerina Dafermou Skrivanou, Varvara Voukaki Fytrou, Mania Delou, Alexandra Tsavliri, Emily Vafeia, and Katerina Tsagka Kefalogianni, supervised by the Association Secretary General, Georgina Ellina.
All proceeds from the e-shop’s sales will all be used to cover the needs of ELPIDA – Association of Friends of Children with Cancer.
