Marianna V. Vardinoyannis Foundation” and the Association “ELPIDA” Association of Friends of Children with cancer, following faithfully, the principles and values of the Founder, Marianna V. Vardinoyannis for offer and solidarity have offered and this year “packages of love” with first need items and goods for the Easter table to hundredths of human beings for the Easter Holy Days.
There have been sent goods for the Easter table and first need items to the Holy Bishopric of Nikaia, distributed to hundredths of poor families from His Eminence The Bishop of Nikaia, Mr. Alexios.
His Eminence, The Bishop of Nikaia Mr. Alexios has warmly thanked for the “multi years love and offer which has started from the memorable Marianna V. Vardinoyannis and it is going on through her Foundation”.
Food and first need items for 250 poor families have been distributed to the Structures of Social integration of the Group for UNESCO Piraeus and Islands in Piraeus. The President of UNESCO Piraeus and Islands Mr. Ioannis Maronitis has warmly thanked for the over the years support which Mr. Marianna V. Vardinoyannis has generously offered and it is going on via her Foundation.
Packages with goods for the Easter table and long lasting food have been also sent to the Municipality of Kifisia for the support of the vulnerable families of the area.
The Mayor of Kifisia Mr. Vasilis Xypolitas declared on the grounds of the delivery of packages: “I would like to express once again my warm thanks to the Association ELPIDA for its de facto support and sensitivity towards the needs of our vulnerable fellow beings. With these packages of offer we shall help people who are in great need contributing in this way to the support of social assistance of our Municipality to the vulnerable social groups. I am convinced that, we shall continue, with your cooperation to make the difference at the lives of people in need. I warmly thank you for your tremendous offer”!.
Fuels for the vehicles that distribute on daily basis breadlines to our poor human fellow beings at 85 mountaineer villages of Agios Vasileios and Amario have been sent to the Holy Bishopric of Lampi, Syvritos and Sfakia.
