The Oncologic Unit of Children “Marianna V. Vardinoyannis-ELPIDA”, has overflowed with smiles of joy and optimism during the small party that was organized just before Easter time on Friday, April 7^th 2023.

The little patients and their parents and the Governor of Children’s Hospital “H Agia Sofia” and “P. & A. Kyriakou”, Mr. Manolis Papasavvas, have welcomed the President of the Association “ELPIDA”, Mrs. Marianna V. Vardinoyannis offering to her East handcrafts and creations, expressing in this way their love for her.

Mrs. Vardinoyannis being moved, has thanked the children and their parents by saying: “These beautiful hand crafts are the most valuable gift: “these beautiful handcrafts created by you with all your love , is the most beautiful gift and Thank you!. I wish you from the depth of my heart a Good Easter time and hope to be all well and healthy at your home this day next year ! I am always at your side!”.

Mrs Vardinoyannis has thereafter offered Eastern gifts to all children who are hospitalized these holy days while she has spoken with their parents and got informed for the children’s condition of health.

Mrs. Vardinoyannis has also spoken with the representatives of the nursing personnel, the security guards and the cleaning personnel of the Unit wishing them for the Easter and thanking them for the their offer and battle at the children’s side giving symbolically to them gift cards for the purchase of goods for the Easter table as she does every year.

The Unit’s representatives have warmly thanked her for the all time offer and support.

“We wish to warmly thank Mrs. Vardinoyannis for whatever she offers at the Unit, children, parents and employees. Her support from the beginning of the Unit’s operation until to date, is our strength at the battle for the handling of children’s cancer. Have a happy Easter time to all of you” said Mr. Papasavvas.

The person in charge of the sector of Oncologic Unit of Children, Mrs. Alexandra Papasarantopoulou said “A great thank to Mrs. Vardinoyannis on behalf of the employees who, is always at our side supporting our effort for the children with cancer. Have a nice Easter time!”
