Within a unique Christmas atmosphere of love, offer and with an enormous participation of people, it was successfully carried out, the Christmas Bazaar of the Association “ELPIDA” – Association of Friends of Children with cancer” in “Semiramis” Hotel on Sunday 4th and Monday December 5th 2022.
Young and Elder people had the opportunity to enjoy unique moments to the absolute Christmas Bazaar of the city which is now an institution having as target the support of the Children with Cancer and their families.
The President of the Association, Mrs. Marianna V. Vardinoyannis, visited the Bazaar and wished to all participants’ Good luck and Happy holidays while she has later on welcomed the Association’s friends who visited the Bazaar to buy their Christmas gifts supporting in this way the children of “ELPIDA”.
The Association’s charm for the year 2023 with Angel’s wings symbolizes the love, solidarity and the offer being designed from the Vice-President of the Association, Mrs. Marianna Lemos and manufactured from the jewelry shop SERKOS was of high demand from the first day.
The Kiosk of the Association “ELPIDA” and Committee “ELPIDA Youth” has attracted the visitors’ great interest with the unique creations inspired from the charm of “ELPIDA”. The calligraphists, Eleni Skreka and Eleni Kefala, who were at the association’s kiosk during the Bazaar, have set at the disposal of the visitors, without any consideration, their talent enabling them to write on their gifts the names of their beloved persons. The companies DIAMOND CLUB, MARVA, CH. KOULIS and MANOLO have also contributed to the success of “ELPIDA” kiosk while the beautiful drawings of the children into frames of ELPIDA junior family have stolen the impressions.
“ELPIDA” has also presented for the first year, the category GREEK BRANDS FOR ELPIDA, through which, five Greek Companies “BLEEKER & LOVE”, EMILY VAFIAS, KOKU CONCEPT, LIPSHOP & SISSY FEIDA INTERIORS have designed items with unique designs for the purposes exclusively of the Association.
The table of “ORAMA ELPIDA” was informing, during the whole term of Bazaar, the visitors about the voluntarily donation of bone marrow offering the opportunity to them to contribute to the standardization of a sample of a volunteer donor via the program “Adopt a sample”.
The Association “ELPIDA” expresses its sincere thanks to Hotel Semiramis of Dakis Ioannou family and to all employees of the Hotel for their warm and kind hospitality for one more year.
