The President of the Association “ELPIDA – Association of Friends of Children with cancer” Mrs. Marianna V. Vardinoyannis has spread smiles of hope and optimism to the children and personnel of the Oncologic Unit of Children “Marianna V. Vardinoyannis – ELPIDA” .
Having her hug open for the little patients, Mrs. Vardinoyannis has given presents to all children and her wishes for the Easter time.
“My beloved children I wish to you and your families from the depths of my heart, Happy Resurrection Day and Happy Easter with hope and love! Our Lord’s Resurrection is mot powerful and hopeful message that, with faith and our personal effort we can succeed everything and pass over any impediment and difficulty. We are always at your side. I wish that, the next year to be at those days to your homes powerful and strong”.
The children have received, with enthusiasm and emotion, their presents from Mrs. Vardinoyannis offering to her in return a spring bouquet of flowers and Easter handmade items.
On Mrs. Vardinoyannis initiative have given, at the same time, once again gift vouchers for the Easter table to the health care personnel, cleaning and guarding personnel and to the assistant personnel of the Oncologic Unit.
“This symbolic gift is the minimum expression of our gratitude for whatever you do every day for our children. The whole family of ELPIDA, we want to thank you for your priceless support to our common fight to the side of the children with cancer and their families and we want to express our estimation for your important work. Both you and your colleagues are the pilar of our hospital and the second family of our little patients together with our Doctors, the Administration members of our hospital and our social workers” Mrs. Vardinoyannis said, in her discussion with the representatives of the Unit’s personnel.
