A few days before Christmas time, on Tuesday December 10th 2025, the Minister of Health, Mr. Adonis Georgiadis, visited the Oncologic Childrens’ Hospital “Marianna V. Vardinoyannis-ELPIDA”, accompanied from the Deputy Minister of Health, Mr. Marios Themistokleous and the Administration and officials of the Institute of Pharmaceutical Research and Technology.
The President of the Association “ELPIDA– Association of Friends of Children with cancer”, Mrs. Christianna V. Vardinoyannis and the President of theOncologic Children’s Hospital “Marianna V. Vardinoyannis-ELPIDA”, Mr. Emmanouil Papasavvas have welcomed the representatives of the Ministry of Health.
They have all together visited departments of the Hospital and talked with parents, medical personnel and children exchanging wishes for these festive days while the Minister of Health has offered gifts to the hospitalized children.
Mrs. Vardinoyannis has expressed her thanks for the support shown to the children and the Oncologic Children’s Hospital “Marianna V. Vardinoyannis-ELPIDA” and she wished to all children and their parents love, health and to be soon back at home.
The Minister of Health has congratulated Mrs. Vardinoyannis for the tremendous work of “ELPIDA” and the long-lasting offer to the battle against the children’s cancer.
