An open hug of hope and offer for our fellow human beings belonging to vulnerable groups (poor) of people, has offered the Institution “Marianna V. Vardinoyannis” and “ELPIDA-Association of Friends of Children with cancer” to Kifisia Municipality.
Mrs. Marianna V. Vardinoyannis came to the complex of council housing to be present to the institutional delivery of 500 Christmas packages of hope on Wednesday December 15th. The Mayor of Kifisia, Giorgos Thomakos and The Vice-Mayor of Public relations and protocol, Nina (Aspasia) Vlachou have taken delivery of packages.
This important offer has been accompanied from the warm words of heart of Mrs. Marianna V. Vardinoyannis who has not omitted to send her warm Christmas wishes to the receivers of packages:
“I would like to wish you for this Christmas health and love which are the most valuable things of our life and over all, love for our next door people. To become a little better the forthcoming year, to open our hugs and heart and offer. This is in fact the lesson of pandemic, this hard period for the Universal that, only through the offer and solidarity and unification, there is hope for a better future for all of us. Happy Holidays to all of you!”.
The Mayor of Kifisia has expressed his thanks for the support of the financially vulnerable groups of our municipality.
“The Institution “Marianna V. Vardinoyannis and Mrs. Marianna V. Vardinoyannis are standing next to our fellow citizens who are in need and the social work of our municipality. I wish to thank you for the precious and log-lasting offer. Each one of us must try these holy days to love more its next door people. Mary Christmas to all citizens with health and love”.
The Vice-Mayor of Public relations, Mrs. Nina-Aspasia Vlachou who coordinates this structure for fifteen years now has praised the work of Mrs. Marianna Vardinoyannis saying characteristically:
“Marianna of “Hope” is by itself a whole world of solidarity, love and hope. Wherever she is, she promotes whatever is big, beautiful and true. She is giving with her offer the opportunity to those who are poor to put another bouquet of kindness to their Christmas table”.
The 500 packages of love are gradually disposed to vulnerable groups of the municipality by the Social Services in the presence of a member of the Social Care and the President of the Society of Council housing Mrs. Vaso Kolovou, the secretary of the Vice-Mayor, Efi Koleka and the Municipal Police in order to comply with all measures of prevention and protection from the COVID.
